How TO Upload an XML file to bricklink
All BRICKmeetsDESIGN™ instructions come with an XML file, so you can upload and buy the parts for the model you have purchased. It can be a little tricky for first time users. Don't worry, this guide will help. In case you haven't watched the video above, this is the written version of the guide.
Step 1: Create a Bricklink account. If you already have one, log in.
Step 2: Move your cursor over the heart icon in the top right corner of your screen and click "Upload".
Step 3: Select "Upload Bricklink XML format" then select "Create New Wanted List" on the dropdown menu next to 'Add to:'.
Step 4: Open the XML file on your device and click Ctrl + A to select all and then Ctrl + C to copy. Once done, go to Bricklink and paste it with Ctrl + V .
Step 5: Name the wanted list, then click "Proceed to verify items". Once the new page loads, scroll all the way down and click "Add to Wanted List". Your parts list is now ready!
Note: Sometimes you will get an "Invalid File Format: Content is not allowed in prolog" error. It's not a big issue, it will likely have some spaces between each line of code. A simple fix for this is to open the file in WordPad and then continue from Step 4.
